Poland strike. Join the voice of in-fertility.
3rd October 2016 No Comments on Poland strike. Join the voice of in-fertility.The Guardian, BBC, Deutsche Welle, Newsweek, AFP, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, all these media giants proved today the voice of in-fertility is not loud enough. Despite explicitly googling the IVF strike in Poland on October 3, 2016, all of the headlines only showed one word: abortion. Even pre-eclampsia and the Catholic church had better PR than the desperate wish of couples in need of medical help in case they want to have a child.
The separate bill in Poland seeks to curb in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), allowing only one embryo to be fertilised at a time and banning the practice of freezing embryos. Available in the rest of Europe this would only promote IVF tourism and inequity of access to treatment for couples, who cannot afford it or would not opt assisted reproduction abroad for other reasons.
